The 2025 China Medical Equipment Conference and Exhibition was held in Chongqing from March 13th to 16th. During the exhibition, it signed three major projects with a total amount of 192 million yuan, injecting new impetus into the regional industrial upgrading.

The exhibition area of Dadukou District has set up four distinctive zones: the image display area, the smart medical equipment exhibition area, the AI consultation experience area, and the smart home cabin, presenting a comprehensive industrial ecosystem of "intelligent monitoring + smart rehabilitation + remote diagnosis and treatment". The exhibition area gathers over 60 innovative products from more than 30 enterprises, covering fields such as in vitro diagnostic equipment, intelligent monitoring devices, and smart rehabilitation equipment.

The peripheral blood image analysis system released by Chongqing Defang Information Technology Co., Ltd. has become the focus. This product was jointly developed by clinical experts and an AI algorithm team. It can collect 47 types of abnormal blood cells and generate diagnostic references. It has been included in the "Directory of Key Innovative Products for Smart Medical Equipment in Chongqing (First Batch)". The disposable laparoscopic linear cutting stapler launched by Chongqing Daqing Medical Devices Co., Ltd. has become an innovative achievement in the field of minimally invasive surgery due to its advantages such as reducing bleeding and lowering the infection rate. In addition, new products from enterprises such as Zhongyuan Huiji, Hikvision, and Runkang Medical also attracted many professional visitors to stop by.

The AI consultation experience area and the smart home cabin became the highlights of the exhibition. Runkang Medical's AI consultation system, through the "AI+ video Internet of Things" technology, efficiently provides professional diagnosis and treatment suggestions for patients. The smart home scenario is based on the entry of dynamic monitoring devices into households and centers on the connection of health data with medical resources, showcasing a new model of future home medical care.

It is worth mentioning that at the Chongqing Smart Medical Equipment Industry Innovation Conference held on March 14th, three projects of Dr. Shen Youfeng's team from Dadukou District, namely the R&D and production project of biochemical and pathological instrument reagents, the R&D, production and assembly project of upstream components of in vitro diagnostic instruments, and the R&D and production project of gait intelligent diagnosis and treatment equipment, were signed in a concentrated manner, totaling 192 million yuan.

Meanwhile, Dadukou District announced the establishment of a special fund for the smart medical equipment industry with a total scale of 1 billion yuan, focusing on supporting the research and development of high-end equipment, the construction of digital diagnosis and treatment platforms, and the transformation of innovative products, to promote the in-depth integration of "industry, academia, research and application".

It is understood that Dadukou District has gathered 239 smart medical equipment enterprises, among which 169 are IVD (in vitro Diagnostic) enterprises, forming a complete industrial chain from research and development to application. In 2024, this industry achieved an output value of 2.3 billion yuan, accounting for 38% of the city's total.
